Our Story

A dream transformed an idea into REALITY!

It was our 5th wedding anniversary. We decided to go back to our honeymoon state of Tennessee. While there we decided to visit a pottering-making store in the design of an old-time cabin. We were in awe, so much so that we wandered around the cabin seemingly for hours observing the workmanship. Later that night while retreating to a good night’s rest, I began to dream.

In my dream, I am driving and Eric, my husband, is on the passenger’s side. I don’t remember why we were riding or where we were going, but what I do remember was that we were driving in pitch blackness and as we were driving along it seemed as though it was getting darker, and I could not understand how darkness (pitch blackness) could get any darker. But I remember fear coming all over me, so I closed my eyes, clinched the wheel, and began to pray. I do not remember the words, but I do remember thinking “this is the most ineloquent prayer I have ever prayed”. The words and sentences just did not seem to flow.

Jesus, the Name of Jesus is all I recall. But in the dream, we seemed to arrive at a cabin with plenty of dirt and gravel in front of it and were backed in. Then the dream stopped and I asked the Lord what the blackness meant. And he said, “you think since you can’t see, I can’t see”. Then I said, “Lord, you are the potter, I am the clay, mold me and “MAKE ME ANEW”’.

My mind immediately shifted toward starting a business in the name of the Lord on behalf of God’s children.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18,19

The Vision

Being the primary cook for our family, I was so intimidated by the thought of relinquishing my traditional style of cooking. I cooked with 3 basic spices: salt, black pepper & seasoned salt. However, I soon learned that I had been sacrificing the Health of my family, because of my unwillingness to learn healthier ways of cooking. Upon continued prayer, study, fellowship, and stepping out in faith; the Lord revealed to my husband & me that it was time to share the little that we knew with others and what we have not learned he will bring others to fill in the gaps.
